Looking for a dentist in Dover Delaware who focuses on more than just teeth? At Care First Dental Team, we value the relationships that we form with our patients and treat them like family. Registered Dental Hygienist
Ashley started with the practice in November 2011 and the patients all love her. Ashley graduated from the hygiene program at Delaware Tech in 2011. She picked hygiene because she really likes the fact that she gets to help people keep or restore their oral health. Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves to travel.
Laurie is Dr. Coope’s wife and according to her “his better half”. She is an attorney so when he wanted to open his own practice she was glad to help out with the business aspects. They are empty nesters with their son in his senior year of college and their daughter living in Atlanta, GA. They also have a two cats, Katrina and Bebe.
Assistant Office Manager
Jessica started working with the practice in August of 2013. She graduated from the dental assistant program at Polytech Adult Education in February of 2014. Jessica’s dedication and outstanding attitude have made her an invaluable member of the team. Jessica picked the dental field because after years of having braces she became fascinated with her oral hygiene. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her daughter Jayla, her two cats Violet and Skye, Boyfriend, and her family and friends.
Dental Assistant/Lab Technician
Charlie joined the team in August 2019. He has been a dental assistant for about 16 years. While he still loves interacting with the patients chairside he has found his passion doing lab work. His talent and skill have been an enormous help to Dr. Coope and the office. Charlie enjoys spending time with his husband, Jerry, and their two dogs, Isabella and Dapper.
Ashlyn started here at Care First Dental Team in February of 2017. After graduating from Lake Forest High School in 2014, she went on to attend Delaware State for Elementary Education. You may recognize her from the front end of the office, but she has found a passion for helping out the doctors chairside in the back! In her free time, she enjoys playing field hockey, ice hockey, and spending time with family and friends. Fun Fact: Ashlyn loves cats. Meow!
Lauren joined our team in July of 2020. Lauren has 3 years of Dental assistant experiance after graduating from Camden County College with her Certified Dental Assistant Certificate in 2017. In her free time Lauren loves to go camping and spending time out doors with her boyfriend Jesse and her puppy dog.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Amanda joined our team in July of 2020. She started her dental career in 2006 working as a dental assistant and she received her Dental Hygiene degree in 2011. She enjoys educating patients and making a difference in their lives and in their smile. Amanda grew up and still lives in Felton Delaware with her husband Sam and two young daughters Bryley and Everly. She loves anything summer, reading, cooking, baking and being artsy.
Robert joined our team in June of 2020, after moving from Minnesota. Robert is new to the world of Dentistry and Dental Assisting. You may see him up front helping out at the desk or in the back assisting with patients. He loves to help people. That is his mission. In his free time he is a Volunteer Fire Fighter at the Magnolia Fire Company ( STA. 55), he is training to be an EMT, and on Friday nights you can find him on the bowling league.

Dr. Robert Coope
Dr. Coope became a Fellow with the Academy of General Dentistry in 2007 and then went on to receive their highest award of Master in 2013.
